These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “T&Cs”) govern all relations between:
CONFIDENCES DE PAPILLES, a simplified joint-stock company with a sole shareholder (SASU), represented by Mr. Jérôme Courtois-Suffit, whose registered office is located at 5 RUE CHARLES LAFFITTE, 92200 NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE, France,
hereinafter referred to as “the Service Provider” or “Confidences de Papilles”,
and
Any individual or legal entity (hereinafter “the Client”) making a reservation or purchase via the website
www.confidencesdepapilles.com (hereinafter “the Site”), or via direct booking for a service (private culinary experience or gourmet event), or purchasing a gift invitation for an Experience listed on the Site.
General Provisions
Purpose
These T&Cs define the rights and obligations of the parties concerning the booking of a confidential meal, the purchase of a gift card, or other products offered for sale by Confidences de Papilles.
Acceptance
Any order or reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs. They take precedence over any other document.
Culinary Experiences (Reservations)
Nature of Services
Confidences de Papilles offers private gastronomic experiences by reservation only, held at the Chef’s residence (address provided upon confirmation).
Two formats are available:
- At the Counter with the Chef (limited seating)
- At the Table, with service by a professional butler
The menu is a
surprise and not revealed in advance, except in justified cases upon express request (allergies, dietary restrictions).
Confidences de Papilles reserves the right to introduce new Experiences to which these terms will also apply.
Booking
Bookings are primarily made through the dedicated form on the Site.
It is also possible to book directly with Confidences de Papilles.
A booking is considered
valid and confirmed only after:
- Receipt of full payment or a deposit as agreed with Confidences de Papilles
- Confirmation from Confidences de Papilles
- Agreement on any special arrangements, if applicable
Pricing
Prices are listed in euros, tax included (TTC). They include the culinary service, beverages (unless otherwise stated and within defined limits), and service.
Confidences de Papilles reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. The applicable rate is the one in effect at the time of confirmation.
Payment Terms
Payment may be required in full or partially (deposit). The reservation is confirmed once payment is received. Available payment methods are indicated on the Site.
Cancellation
By the Client:
- Up to 14 days before the reserved date: Full refund or credit valid for 6 months from the original date
- Between 14 and 4 days: 50% refund or credit valid for 6 months
- Less than 4 days or no-show: No refund
By the Service Provider:
In the event of exceptional circumstances (illness, force majeure), a full refund or postponement will be offered.
Postponement
By the Client:
- Up to 4 days before the reserved date: Credit valid for 6 months
- Less than 4 days or no-show: No refund or rescheduling possible
By the Service Provider:
In case of exceptional impediment (illness, force majeure), a full refund or postponement will be offered.
Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
The Client must report
any allergies or dietary restrictions when booking. No claims will be accepted in case of omission.
III. Gift Invitations
Terms of Use
Gift cards are valid for
12 months from the date of purchase. They are
non-refundable but
transferable to another person upon written notification to the Service Provider.
Offers valid while supplies last.
Rescheduling request by the gift recipient: Only one rescheduling will be allowed.
- Up to 4 days before the reserved date: rescheduling possible
- Less than 4 days or no-show: no rescheduling allowed
Final Provisions
Liability
Confidences de Papilles declines all responsibility in case of unreported allergy, misuse of products, or force majeure.
Personal Data
Data is used exclusively for processing orders. In accordance with GDPR, Clients may exercise their rights upon simple request.
Intellectual Property
All content (texts, photos, recipes, logo) is the exclusive property of Confidences de Papilles. Any reproduction is prohibited.
Applicable Law – Disputes
These T&Cs are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be preferred. Failing that, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the courts of Paris.
